“Rising Stars” concert features outstanding students from Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts. The students of CCPA study in the midst of Chicago’s invigorating arts scene, and acquire additional experience through internships with nationally-known music companies. The performers for this evening are pianists Andrew Cannestra, Seungjin Han, Zarin Mehta, and Elizabeth Sprecher; violinists Gabriela Lara, Jesús Linárez; violist Pedro Mendez; and cellists Ishmael Brown and Lidanys Graterol.
